Another computer company has joined the netbook race and it’s none other than Stone Neo. The company has unveiled their latest netbook in the market recently, and it’s packed with all the hardware gears that you can find in any other netbooks out in the market.

Nevertheless, the Neo 101 model looks pretty much like IBM laptops which they released 10 years ago – it’s black and it has a logo which resemble IBM’s old logo.

On the other hand, the netbook would come with 10.1-inch display with 1,024 x 600 resolution, Atom processor, built-in WiFi, 2 USB ports, ExpressCard slot. I believe that you’ll even receive a full 3 years warranty from Stone.

It’s available for purchase in UK on May the 1st, and it would priced at £275 or $400.

I’m sure that the American military has the capability to produce any kind of weapon of mass destruction as well as the ability to create spy weapons that will awe you. Of course, Naval Research Laboratory has recently unveiled their latest UAV which utilizes hydrogen fuel cells rather that those gas guzzling machines.

The hydrogen fuel cells enable the Ion Tiger to fly 7 times further when compared to its predecessors. On the other hand, it can also carry heavier payloads, can be configured in smaller size, very low noise emission and it even exhibits low heat signature. Best of all, the Ion Tiger does not have any emissions – yes, it’s another go-green machine.

I’m sure that the Ion Tiger would be flying around pretty soon, snapping photos of possible terrorist or even raining rockets on multiple targets remotely.

Shuttle is renowned for their barebone systems and lately, they have unveiled their latest X270V nettop system which I think has all the perks of a very small PC. Personally, I am a fan for these barebone systems, as I think that it exhibits a sleek and stylish black exterior which saves space on your office desk too.

Nevertheless, the X270V nettop isn’t a performer as it would be equipped with Intel's 1.6GHz Atom 330. On the other hand, it also comes with 2GB of DDR2 RAM, gigabit Ethernet, 6 USB sockets, 6-channel audio, PS/2 connector and VGA / DVI outputs.

Of course, if you are a huge fan for Shuttle’s barebone systems, I would recommend you to get one of their X270V nettop. And it’s retailing in Europe for just a mere €299 ($390).

Interested?

Epson has something interesting behind their back and it’s called the X-Desk. I’m sure that you might have already seen Microsoft’s version of the multi-touch desk released sometime last year – Epson, practically took the idea and created their own version and slapped a nametag on it, called the X-Desk.

On the other hand, this particular desk is equipped with a Core 2 Duo-powered processor and has the ability to display 1,024 x 768 resolution. Also, it can recognize up to 16,000 objects using its ‘Smart Tags’ system.

Well there isn’t anything special to mention about the X-Desk, except that you could probably load an air hockey game into it and play it with your friends probably?

AEE Wireless claimed that they have produced the world’s smallest mini DV camera – but personally, I don’t think that the size matches its descriptions. Apparently, the mini DV camera can be mounted at the front of the wearer – which I think might fool the people that you are trying to sneakily snap their photos? I think not!

On the other hand, the mini DV camera comes with all the necessary camera equipment – such as a built-in lithium-ion battery, microSD card slot for extended memory, USB connection, 640 x 480, 30 fps video out and 2-megapixel JPEG images.

Still, I think that this particular camera is pretty amazing. And if you are interested, it’s retailing at $85 and $159.
