Looking for a professional sci-fi tablet which you can use during crucial presentations? Well if you are, then you should probably take a look at Wacom’s PL-900 LCD Tablet which looks pretty interesting.
The squarish ‘presentation tablet’ features 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution on a huge 19 inch screen, which is big enough for proper viewing on presentation materials. On the other hand, there are 2 USB 2.0 ports available for you to plug in USB devices to enhance the PL-900 LCD Tablet. What’s even more interesting is there are DVI-I input and output ports for you to connect to another monitor together.
If you are asking for the price of the Wacom’s PL-900 LCD Tablet, it’s available for purchase at a very steep 1,499 euros or $1,988. But before you are thinking that it’s not viable to purchase the tablet, I bet that your clients would appreciate the additional effort in ‘enhancing’ your presentation.
Here’s a picture of Wacom’s PL-900 LCD Tablet:

Looking forward for a cheap and inexpensive solution to extend your monitor just a little bit? Well if you are, then you should probably take a look at Buffalo’s 7-inch FTD-W71USB display unit.
I believe that the 7 inch display is somewhat tiny, I really don’t think that it’s practical for high end graphics usage. But if you are looking for something that you can use just to extend your display a little bit, then the 7-inch FTD-W71USB display might be something that you should look forward to.
In fact, the 7 inch display can display up to 800 x 480 resolution and a 300 nits brightness, as well as 500:1 contrast ratio. What’s even more surprising is the fact that it has a really quick 25ms response time which I think you’ll love it watching fast paced action video or games on your little display unit.
Well the Buffalo 7-inch FTD-W71USB display unit would be available in Japan by the end of this month – so be in the watch for one of these displays in Japan.

I come to think that the Virgin Mobile's Helio Ocean 2 mobile phone is rather something ‘cute-sy’ for girls as it features a roundish look – and I mean almost everything in the design is pretty round!
What makes Virgin Mobile's Helio Ocean 2 rather unique is the fact that you can use it to blog anywhere you go, read your email, it even comes with specialized social networking program and I believe it also has all the features of a smartphone as well.
But seriously speaking, I don’t think that this is a phone for a guy – but it’s rather skewed towards a female taste. Being a guy myself, I wouldn’t purchase something this ‘cute’ to use, even though if it comes with all the advanced features. It’s a disgrace to men and those found using Virgin Mobile's Helio Ocean 2 should consider changing their sexual preference.
The Virgin Mobile's Helio Ocean 2 would be available some time in March this year and there’s no mention on price as well as packaged deals from mobile operators.

Apparently, Samsung is pushing the limit for RAM modules which you can fit inside your PC. Not only they manage to grab the title to be the first to product 4GB RAM modules, their 32GB modules would also signal another milestone for the company.
On the other hand, the 32GB DDR3 RAM modules would be manufactured based on the 50-nm architecture. What’s even more magnificent is the fact that the new chip is designed to consume 40 percent less power when compared to their previous version of DDR3 RAM modules.
Of course, the 32GB DDR3 RAM modules would have to wait just a little which for its 16GB version to catch up in the market first.
However, I’m pretty sure that majority of the public might question their viability of their 32GB memory modules as there is a considerable amount of PC users who are still using older RAM specifications. I don’t think that DDR3 technology hasn’t really catch up with the market – just yet.

It seems Toshiba is dead serious about their fuel cell technology whereby they will be introducing a revolutionary fuel cell battery charger into the market. I’m sure that there has been past attempts on creating fuel cell based electronics in the past, but it seems that the market wasn’t ready at that time, I wonder would there be a difference at present time?
Of course, the fuel cell battery charger would utilize a direct methanol fuel cell-based (DMFC) system to create the voltage needed to charge your cell phones and most impressively laptops when connected.
Toshiba officials commented that the fuel cell charger would be available as early as April this year – let’s just hope that the technology does materialize, but I doubt the market condition would allow consumers to ‘shop’ for something out of the ordinary.

Real estate value has plunged so much since the announcement of the global recession, that even someone with $1,000 could purchase a property that has been slapped with a foreclosure.
Despite gloomy economic forecast, I believe that for those who have saved a considerable amount of cash during ‘better times’ should start investing into the stock market and also into the real estate industry.
I believe that any Tom, Dick and Harry could identify stocks which are worth to be invested on or real estate that could be turned over and reap you profit in the process.
It’s always wise to think out of the box and don’t let other people’s judgments blur your gut feeling to make it to become the next millionaire.
‘Buy low, sell high’ – that’s the basic in business and I believe that the market is nearing its lowest point in history. Wouldn’t you like to be the next Warren Buffet and make your mark in history?

Apparently, the research to create a light bulb that lasts 60 years is near its completion. In fact, the Cambridge University team of researchers who have initiated the research are pretty close to bringing the production of LED bulbs into the market which has a very ‘extended’ lifespan of usage.
Of course, this team of researchers claimed that their light bulb could last 60 years – but it hasn’t passed the basic test of time. I don’t think that they have proven in reality that their light bulb could last 60 years – it’s just in theory and based on controlled research environment that these bulbs could last that long.
On the other hand, if these LED light bulbs does what it is designed to, it could last up to 100,000 hours of none stop usage, or you could also translate that to 60 years.
So you might be wondering how much these high tech and revolutionary LED bulbs would cost you – it’s pretty cheap, it only would cost you $2.85.

Looking for an ultra portable netbook which can fit perfectly in a suitcase disguise? Well the ‘brotato’ suitcase certainly fits the criteria as James Bond’s next super netbook weapon that he could carry around in a suitcase, without raising alarm from his villains.
The actual brotato model comes with a 14.2 inch LCD screen latched to the top of the suitcase and the main hardware sits at the bottom compartment. It comes with a cooling fan and all the necessary wires to keep the netbook running as it should. What’s even more interesting is the fact that it utilizes a 1.6GHz Atom processor and it even has 2GB of RAM, 160GB of hard disk space and 802.11n WiFi for you to surf the internet.
On the other hand, you can install Windows XP, Windows 7 or even Mac OS X onto it – depending on your ‘espionage’ preference.
Of course, this isn’t really something that PC manufacturers would push out into the market as it looks simply plain stupid to use in Starbucks or Coffee Bean. But it’s a magnificent achievement for someone who has actually created this working prototype – just for the fun of it.
Behold, the Brotato!

Previously, China was enjoying a GDP rate of 12 plus percent for 2008, but the figure dwindled to close to half of its original value to a mere 6.8 percent. What makes things even worse is the fact that China is suffering similar fate like the rest of the world whereby mega multinational corporations are firing their workers by the thousands. On the other hand, the slump in demand for electronic goods would mean that goods manufactured from China would have no where to go.
Although China’s communist government has devised a $586 financial stimulus plan to kick start the economy, I don’t think that the stimulus plan would has a deep impact on the overall economy.
On the other hand, local companies in China are brutally fighting for a piece of their internal market share. Being one of the most populated countries in the world, China has over 1.3 billion people living in the country alone. I believe that would mean huge potential for local market consumption.
However, what makes things worse for China at the moment is the fact that their stock market has plunged so much since the end of the Olympics 2008, it’s hard to believe that China has the capability to recover from the recession very soon.
